Matica Appoints Mr. Sam Yang as Manager of China Branch
Experienced Manager Joins Matica Team to Oversee Regional Growth
Stuttgart/Germany, August 2, 2013– Matica Technologies AG, a leading international ID solutions provider, announces today that Mr. Sam Yang has been appointed as the new Branch Manager of the Beijing, China office.
Following the continued growth of our Chinese branch and in order to strengthen the group’s presence within the region, Mr. Yang’s leadership and experience will reinforce our team’s progress.
Mr. Yang has a diverse background, with degrees in both electrical engineering and business administration, combines more than seven years of sales experience with card personalization systems with eight years of practical knowledge in the information technology field, and previously served as the Vice President of Silone Magcard, Inc., and was the exclusive agent for NBS in China. He also worked successfully for years at Intertek and Procter & Gamble. With his fluency in both English and Cantonese, Mr. Yang will focus his specialized talents on developing our sales and marketing strategies in the region and improving our technical support and management processes.
The office’s prior Branch Manager, Ms. Mei Zong, will stay on as the Manager for Government Business Projects that has historically been one of the company’s largest and most engaging market segments in Asia, and will work hand-in-hand with Mr. Yang to continue the growth of Matica’s market share and the regional team’s structural expansion.
