  • Junior Channel Sales Manager USA (m/f) – Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA)

    Matica Technologies Group is a fast-growing and innovative global player and is worldwide represented with offices in Germany, Italy, Singapore, China, the USA, the UAE and India. The Group develops, manufactures, and distributes solutions to issue identity documents such citizen identity cards, driving licenses, access control cards as well as financial cards like debit or credit cards and many other applications. Matica offers a vast range of products from centralized systems and mailers to Desktop printers and laser desktop machines.     To further grow our business in North America, we are looking for our office in Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA) for a motivated and talented: Junior Channel Sales Manager USA (m/f)

    Your Tasks
    • Develop new Channel Partners for Matica products in North America. Assume accountability for achieving defined revenue targets. Call on existing and potential clients to identify their current or perspective needs and provide information about Matica’s products/services including demonstrations and quotations
    • Enable partners to resell Matica’s identification products and successfully implement them
    • Grow the company’s customer base through opening new accounts and develop a pipeline of opportunities through regular client meetings
    • Analyse the partner’s business needs and provide sales analysis to Sales Director Americas thru providing sales out reports, stock reports, and regular market reports
    • Research and develop sales presentations to effectively relate Matica’s solutions to potential customers' needs. Help partners to develop business proposals for presentation to clients, assemble expertise from other departments to ensure that all technical areas are covered
    • Lead customers through the sales process as trusted advisor and by providing outstanding regular support
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of Matica’s products/services, sales objectives and strategies, pricing and delivery/installation policies and practices to be able to respond to customer requests for information
    • Leverage marketing activities/events as well as attend relevant industry events and trade shows to ensure Matica’s brand recognition within the marketplace
    • Review impact of new product releases, new product features, delivery schedules, and competitor offerings with sales personnel
    • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities within the company’s CRM system
    • Manage and ensure accurate and updated forecast

    Qualifications:

    • First successful sales experience in North America within the ID industry
    • Ability to establish a dialogue with all levels of the client organization, including executives
    • Existing relationships with decision makers in channel partners, is considered a plus
    • New partner development experience
    • Genuine desire to succeed in sales role
    • Awareness of target markets and product offerings of competitors
    • Excellent written and oral English language skills
    • Excellent presentation skills and ability to finalize and execute sales
    • Strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers
    • Result-oriented and proactive self-starter with ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Strong service mentality to meet the client's interests at the heart of the relationship
    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

    Work Requirements:

    • Office based in Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA)
    • Up to 70% travel and fieldwork in the region. Must be able to travel by car, train, airplane, etc. as needed
    • International travel will be required, therefore employee must possess a valid passport and driver’s licence

    Your Tasks
    • Develop new Channel Partners for Matica products in Southern Europe. Assume accountability for achieving defined revenue targets. Call on existing and potential clients to identify their current or perspective needs and provide information about Matica’s products/services including demonstrations and quotations
    • Enable partners to resell Matica’s identification products and successfully implement them
    • Develop leads to potential new customers through various sources
    • Grow the company’s customer base through opening new accounts and develop a pipeline of opportunities through regular client meetings
    • Consult with partners to analyse and understand their customer’s business needs and determine which of Matica’s products and services best fit their requirements
    • Develop and implement channel and distribution strategies for the region that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability
    • Lead customers through the sales process as trusted advisor and by providing outstanding support
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of Matica’s products/services, sales objectives and strategies, pricing and delivery/installation policies and practices to be able to respond to customer requests for information
    • Manage overall client relationships, responsibility for the maintenance and development of business from existing clients
    • Leverage marketing activities/events as well as attending relevant industry events and trade shows to ensure Matica brand recognition within the marketplace
    • Review impact of new product releases, new product features, delivery schedules, and competitor offerings with sales personnel
    • Maintain accurate records of all pricings and sales activities in the CRM system
    • Manage and ensure accurate and updated forecast

    Qualifications:

    • At least 5 years of sales experience in the card printer industry in Southern Europe
    • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in Southern Europe with regards to the card printers and the sales to distributors
    • Existing relationships with decision makers in channel partners within the card printer industry in Europe
    • New card printer partner development experience
    • Ability to establish a dialogue with all levels of the client organization, including executives
    • Genuine desire to succeed in sales role
    • Awareness of target markets and product offerings of competitors in the card printer industry
    • Excellent written and oral English language skills, additional local language skills of advantage
    • Excellent presentation skills and ability to finalize and execute sales
    • Result-oriented and proactive self-starter with ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
    • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
    • Strong service mentality to meet the client's interests at the heart of the relationship
    • Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent
