  • Electronics Engineer (m/f) - Bangalore / India

    For our R&D team in Bangalore/India, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer (m/f).

    Your Tasks

    • Responsible for the design and development of the electronics for Matica’s card printers and related products, including generating formal specifications, verification tests and production documentation for release
    • Component selection and evaluation, circuit schematic design and simulation, PCB layouts, design verification and validation
    • Generation of engineering documentation
    • Perform architecture and micro-architecture electronic hardware design and development
    • Develop overall CPU based electronic hardware with pipeline hardware structure
    • Develop the product and run / debug the circuitry end to end to assure full functionality, circuit integrity and full performance parameters
    • Contribute to the overall success of the Engineering team
    • Ownership of the design, synthesis, testing and release of all electronics for the product

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electronics or Electronics Engineering
    • Minimum of five years of CPU based design and development experience using advance designed tools and latest / fastest chip technology of the class at the most efficient cost

    • Experience of FPGA and CPLD devices and firmware
    • CAD experience such as ORCAD, ALTIUM DESIGNER
    • High speed digital design including USB, SPI, I2C and Ethernet

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Project Professional is considered a plus

  • Software Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Products (m/f) – Bangalore (India)

    For our R&D team in Bangalore/India, we are looking for a Software Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Products (f/m).

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    The Software Technical Support Engineer belongs to the Technical Support organization and supports Matica regions and customers in ensuring printers, systems division product skills and expertise on a high-quality service level within the group.

    Product support and monitoring:

    Development of software products + customizations

    • Develop high-quality software design and architecture for Matica’s card printers
    • Develop drivers and libraries (dll) for Matica desktop products integration
    • Software development/optimization + technical support on Multi-Device Drivers
    • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
    • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
    • Review and maintain existing code base including bug fixing and/or refactoring
    • Support in the design and development of desktop and web engineering tools
    • Perform validation and verification testing

    Technical support activities and starting of new printing systems prototypes

    • Support during demos and tradeshows (global)
    • Documentation activities
    • Training activities to technical staff
    • Able to create a thread between all the technicians in our Regions to share the information’s and keep all staff member updated about the changes (Hardware, Firmware, Driver, etc.)
    • Second level support for national and international customers, dealers, business partners via phone and email

    Qualifications:

    • Completed apprenticeship in software engineering or comparable qualification
    • Several years of work experience as software service technician for electronics goods
    • Printer industry background is considered a plus.
    • Very good written and oral English.

  • Software Engineer (f/m) – Bangalore (India)

    For our R&D team in Bangalore/India, we are looking for a Software Engineer (f/m) to produce and implement functional software solutions.

    Your Tasks

    • You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects.
    • In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you also have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you
    • Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals

    Your Responsibilities

  • Sales Manager Desktop Solutions, India (m/f)

    For our growing, competent sales team, we are looking for a Sales Manager Desktop Solutions, India (m/f).

    Your Tasks

    • Enable partners to resell Matica’s identification products and successfully implement them
    • Develop new Channel Partners for Matica products in India. Assume accountability for achieving defined revenue targets. Call on existing and potential clients to identify their current or perspective needs and provide information about Matica’s products/services including demonstrations and quotations
    • Develop and implement channel and distribution strategies for the region that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability
    • Develop leads to potential new customers through various sources
    • Grow the company’s customer base through opening new accounts and develop a pipeline of opportunities through regular client meetings
    • Consult with partners to analyse and understand their customer’s business needs and determine which of Matica’s products and services best fit their requirements
    • Research and develop sales presentations to effectively relate Matica’s solutions to potential customers' needs. Help partners to develop business proposals for presentation to clients, assemble expertise from other departments to ensure that all technical areas are covered
    • Lead customers through the sales process as trusted advisor and by providing outstanding support
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of Matica’s products/services, sales objectives and strategies, pricing and delivery/installation policies and practices to be able to respond to customer requests for information. Manage overall client relationships, has overall responsibility for the maintenance and development of business from existing clients
    • Leverages marketing activities/events as well as attending relevant industry events and trade shows to ensure Matica brand recognition within the marketplace

    For our Technical team in Dubai, we are looking for a Consumables / Supplies Test Engineer (m/f).

    Your Tasks

    • Performance of extensive test of Matica’s consumables and supplies in card printers
    • Develop and draft test plans and test cases
    • Set up test environments
    • Perform physical tests in accordance with test plans and test cases
    • Draft test reports covering test conditions, procedures, results, and conclusions and report to Technical Management
    • Investigate and troubleshoot product design related problems and opportunities, document findings and recommend corrective/improvement changes

  • SAP Business One Support Specialist (f/m) – Bangalore (India)

    Based in Bangalore, India, supporting our SAP user base globally, we are looking for a SAP Business One Support Specialist (f/m).

    Your Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Provide first and second level support and troubleshoot via email and phone to Matica staff worldwide on the Global ERP System (SAP Business One)
    • Handle issues directly with SAP when needed
    • Coach and guide employees on the usage of SAP Business One
    • Proactively identify areas of improvement in the system and its usage, and drive change across the organization
    • Work with Crystal Reports and develop layouts and reports, as per requirement
    • Manage projects/implementations of the functionalities from Business One
    • Meet business and technology needs by giving direction, purpose and guidance
    • Manage rollouts of software updates and changes (example Patch level updates etc.)
    • Escalate interruptions and/or problems with the system to the IT department and the provider (where needed)
