South Africa is our next host when we attend the fifth annual meeting of ID4Africa in Johannesburg between 18-20 June. The overall theme is ‘identity ecosystems for service delivery,’ and the exposition of identity solutions and technologies for the government sector is at the heart of the exhibition. The event is held at the Emperors Palace Convention Center.

ID4Africa attracts stakeholders from the national identity authorities and commissions; electoral commissions; banking / finance; border management and immigration; law enforcement / national security / defence; data protection; foreign affairs; legal; public administration, among many others.

On booth B14, Matica will present excellent assets for the government sector: the XID8300 and XID8600 + ILM:

XID8300 – a compact, powerful PVC ID card printer with over-the-edge printing for sharp colors and high card-per-hour output.

XID8600 – a premium micro printer with 600dpi resolution, capable of 120 single-sided cards per hour, (double-sided is also available), and produces over-the-edge dye sublimation for world class results. The outstanding image quality, high security standards, micro print and adaptability make this model right for governmentcorporate or financial.

ILM – there are two options within this technology but both are the fastest laminating modules on the market: the ILM-LS offers high-speed single-sided lamination (takes as little as 16 seconds per card), while the robust ILM-DS takes care of double-sided (takes 30 seconds). Given the advanced levels of security features, they are perfect assets for government.
